Have
you been converted to Ubuntu recently only to find you can not switch
desktop, one of the most useful features!
It has always
surprised me that so many people are drawn to Ubuntu, only after they
have seen a friend do some fancy desktop switching. It does look nice,
yes, but it is also a very useful functionality for various tasks which
would ideally require more than one monitor, but where that is not an
option.
New users arrive, and then find
that they can not work out how to switch desktop!
Fortunately
the key combination by standard is easy - just press
Ctrl + Alt + left arrow
or
Ctrl + Alt + right arrow
